PERSONAL DETAILS
Bill and his wife Cricket have a 21st-Century marriage, bi-coastal for the first 15 years of their relationship, sustained by email, Skype, and frequent flyer programs. He lived in his native Pacific Northwest and she lived a continent away in her native Florida tropics. They spent as much time together as they could maneuver, whether on the East or West Coast, or meeting somewhere for an adventure. At long last they can now reside under the same roof.
The August night Bill and Cricket met they sat under the stars watching the Perseids meteor shower, sharing their personal experiences with the higher points of fine design and construction. More than two decades later they’re still at it, renovating four houses in south Florida, with one recently completed and sold, and taking pleasure in doing nearly all of the work themselves.
